Breaking: INEC Omits Rochas Okorocha from People to collect certificate of Return

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has omitted Rochas Okorocha from Senators-elect to collect certificate of return on Thursday.

This was contained in the list of Senators-elect scheduled to collect the certificate of Return from the Commission in Abuja.

In the table the space of Imo West Senatorial district representative was left blank.
Until the time of filing this report INEC is yet to make official statement in the development.

The decision of Electoral body might be connected to the allegation that the Governor of Imo state put the returning officer under pressure to declare him as the winner.

Apart from Rochas’s name the space for Imo North Senatorial district is left blank.
