The brother to the embattled leader of the proscribed Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), Emmanuel Kanu, and his lawyer, Barrister Aloy Ejimakor are reportedly on their way to Kuje magistrate court where they could be remanded prison.
This was disclosed by Omoyele Sowore, the publisher of Sahara Reporters and the organizer of #FreeNnamdiKanuNow protest.
Diaspora Digital Media reported that the duo were arrested by security operatives on Monday during the botched #FreeNnamdiKanunow protest in Abuja.
Sowore said: “I just learned that illegal IGP Kayode Egbetokun has sent Nnamdi Kanu’s brother and lawyer, Aloy Ejimakor, and 11 others all the way to Kuje Magistrate Court to get them remanded in prison at all costs. #FreeNnamdiKanuNow”.
