BREAKING: Obosi in Flames

Obosi, a once peaceful town in Anambra State, has been plunged into chaos and terror, not by criminals, but by the very force meant to safeguard its people.

The Nigeria Police’s Anti-cult Squad, instead of being a shield, unleashed a storm of violence, firing indiscriminately into crowds of innocent residents, including defenceless women and children.

This morning, DDM Crew spoke with survivors still trembling from the nightmare.

Ms. Grace Madubuobi, one of the victims, recounted the horror: “They came for a young man, accused of cultism. But we asked for a warrant, for proof. Instead of answers, they responded with bullets.”

The police opened fire to scatter the crowd demanding justice and transparency.

The violence didn’t stop there.

Cars parked along the streets and inside the town hall were vandalized; windscreens shattered, windows smashed, as if Obosi’s dignity itself was under attack.

Market women, the backbone of the community, were harassed, their phones and hard-earned money snatched away in broad daylight.

This is not just a story of brutality; it is a betrayal of trust.

The people of Obosi, who have lived in peace for generations, now live in fear of those meant to protect them.

Mothers clutch their children tighter, shops shutter early, and the once vibrant streets echo with silence and sorrow.

How did a force sworn to uphold law and order become the source of terror?

How long will innocent lives be shattered under the guise of justice?

Obosi’s cry is a call to the nation: Justice must prevail. Accountability must be demanded. The people deserve peace, not bullets.
