The President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki has, on Wednesday, announced the defection of Senator Yele Omogunwa to All Progressives Congress [APC].
Senator Omogunwa is representing Ondo South Constituency in the Senate formerly under the umbrella of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The former Ondo State commissioner has criss-crossed from Labour Party [LP] to PDP, and later from PDP to LP.
His departure ironically coincides with the loss of his party to APC in the just concluded Ondo State gubernatorial election.
