
The ongoing trial of the embattled Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki will now be holding on day to day basis till the end of the trial.
Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal [CCT], Danladi Umaru made this known at the resumption trial of the Senate President on Monday.
According to Danladi, Saraki ‘s trial shall proceed from 10am to 6pm day to day until conclusion of the case.
Meanwhile, protesters besieged CCT on Monday expressing dissatisfaction with the trial.
They also asked for the discontinuation of the court proceeding against Saraki.
In the meantime, more exhibits from 31 – 43 tendered in court by prosecution have now been admitted by Justice Danladi Umar.
They include cheques, letters, documents, etc.
Exhibits 27 – 31 were also tendered in court by prosecution witness, Michael Wetkas.

Most of the payments were allegedly made from Carlisle Properties Ltd, Tiny Tee Ltd and Sen. Pres. Bukola Saraki’s personal accounts with banks.
Wetkas says Saraki bought 3 federal government properties in Ikoyi, Lagos.
This, according to him, is contrary to FG’s implementation committee guidelines that specified only one per person.
Senator Saraki was at the trial on Monday during the continuation of the trial.
