LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM — Chelsea FC manager Liam Rosenior has come under heavy criticism from sections of the Stamford Bridge support following another disappointing Premier League defeat to Manchester United.

The Blues suffered a 2-0 loss at Stamford Bridge, marking their fourth consecutive league defeat and further deepening pressure on the under-fire head coach.

Despite Manchester United themselves delivering an underwhelming performance, they still managed to secure all three points with clinical finishing, leaving Chelsea frustrated in front of their home fans.

The defeat also came against the backdrop of pre-match protests directed at the club’s ownership, adding to the tense atmosphere inside the stadium.

After the final whistle, Rosenior reportedly walked towards the stands to acknowledge the supporters, but instead received a hostile response from sections of the crowd.

According to journalist Kieran Gill of the Daily Mail, the Chelsea manager was met with boos, gestures of frustration, and visible anger from fans, particularly around the Matthew Harding Stand.

The report described the atmosphere as one of growing discontent, with supporters increasingly dissatisfied with both results and the overall direction of the team.

Chelsea have now lost four consecutive Premier League matches, a run that has intensified scrutiny on Rosenior’s future at the club.

The poor form has also raised concerns among fans about squad performance, attacking inefficiency, and defensive vulnerabilities that were again exposed against Manchester United.

Following the match, Rosenior addressed the media and attempted to remain positive, despite mounting pressure and growing frustration among the fanbase.

The situation was further complicated by an injury concern to young talent Estevão, adding another setback to an already difficult campaign.

Chelsea’s struggles have placed the manager in a precarious position as expectations remain high despite inconsistent performances throughout the season.

With results continuing to decline and supporter confidence weakening, attention is now turning toward how the club’s hierarchy will respond to the growing pressure surrounding the head coach.

For now, Rosenior remains in charge, but the reaction from fans suggests patience is wearing thin as Chelsea’s season continues to unravel.
