Mokeme’s account highlights how sudden facial weakness or drooping can be alarming because it may resemble symptoms of a stroke and requires urgent medical attention.

Bell’s palsy is a condition involving sudden weakness or paralysis of muscles on one side of the face. While it can have different causes and may improve over time, sudden facial drooping can also be associated with stroke, making immediate medical assessment important.

The actor’s experience has drawn attention to the importance of taking sudden neurological symptoms seriously rather than assuming they will simply disappear.
