A Federal High Court sitting in Kaduna has granted bail to former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, in a corruption case filed by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).
Delivering ruling on Tuesday, April 14, Justice Rilwanu Aikawa admitted the former governor to bail in the sum of N200 million, with two sureties in like sum.
The court ordered that El-Rufai remains in ICPC custody until he meets the bail conditions, including the deposit of his international passport and those of his sureties.
The case was adjourned for further proceedings.
