The Kaduna State High Court presided over by Hon. Justice Hannatu A.L. Balogun has restrained Governor Nasir El-Rufai, the governor of the State & 4 others from demolishing peoples’ properties.
Ruling, the Court restrained El-Rufai from interfering with the possession, use and occupation of the properties in issue and from carrying out any demolition of the properties of the community pending the determination of notice.
This is in line with the need to ensure justice for the natives of Gbagyi Villa Community who are being threatened with demolition by the state government.
The case has been adjourned to 24/3/2016.
However, Nasir El’Rufai is known by his antecedents as the minister of FCT for his penchant to disregard of court orders.
Will this one be any different?
