(DDM) – a leading media and development communications company based in Nigeria and the United Kingdom, has announced the commencement of registration for the sixth batch of its flagship digital skills training initiative, the DDM IT Academy.

DDM corespondents confirmed that Cohort 6 of the academy is now open to applicants, offering Nigerians and residents in the diaspora an opportunity to gain in-demand technology skills and boost their career prospects in today’s digital economy.

Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) gathered that the academy is designed to empower young professionals, job seekers, and entrepreneurs with practical IT skills that are essential in a rapidly evolving job market.

Courses available for Cohort 6 include Web Development, Digital Marketing, Data Analytics, UI/UX Design, and Product Management, among others.

Since its inception, the DDM IT Academy has trained hundreds of participants across Nigeria and beyond, many of whom have successfully transitioned into tech careers or launched their own digital businesses.

The academy operates both physical and virtual learning models, ensuring flexibility for participants regardless of location.

This hybrid approach also supports remote learning for Nigerians in the diaspora or those working full-time.

According to the organizers, early bird registration for Cohort 6 begins at just N75,000, a discounted rate aimed at increasing accessibility to high-quality digital training.

Applicants are encouraged to take advantage of the subsidized offer by visiting the official training portal: https://ddm.media/cohort-6.

A spokesperson for DDM emphasized that the training is more than just technical instruction.

Participants receive mentorship, portfolio development support, and career guidance tailored to the Nigerian and global job market.

“Tech skills are no longer optional,” the spokesperson noted. “We are offering young people the tools they need to unlock better earning potential and adapt to the demands of the digital era.”

The launch of Cohort 6 comes at a time when digital transformation is reshaping nearly every sector, from finance to healthcare, media, education, and governance.

With a growing number of youths seeking alternatives to traditional career paths and government jobs, initiatives like the DDM IT Academy are bridging the skills gap and helping to combat rising unemployment.
