Diaspora Digital Media to moderate Nnewi North LGA Chairmanship debate

The Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) has been charged with the task of moderating Nnewi North Local Government Chairmanship debate slated for 22 of September 2024.

This was disclosed in a statement signed by Chukwumaife Okeke-Enyobi, Founder, Explore Nnewi Urban.

According to the statement, the rescheduling aligns with the recent publication by Anambra State Independent Electoral Commission (ANSIEC) of the official candidates and political parties for the upcoming Local Government elections.

The statement reads, “Explore Nnewi Urban wishes to officially announce a change in the management and full coverage of the highly anticipated Nnewi North LGA Chairmanship Debate. We have made the decision to hand over the event to DIASPORA DIGITAL MEDIA (DDM) – NEWSBAND (Formerly elombah.com), effective immediately.

Time: 3:00 PM
Venue: The Nnewi Hotel

“This rescheduling aligns with the recent publication by ANSIEC of the official candidates and political parties for the upcoming Local Government elections.

The confirmed candidates are:

– Hon. Echezona Anazodo (APGA)
– Uba Chidiebere Nonso (Labour Party)
– Orizu Enyinna Timothy (PDP)
– Amb. Paul Muoneke (YPP)

“This adjustment allows ample time for consultation and formal invitations to be extended to these candidates, as well as other stakeholders, ensuring their participation in this critical debate.

“DDM, with its proven expertise in managing significant media events, will lead the debate coverage.

The event will be streamed live across multiple platforms, including AfiaTV on DSTV and GoTV, and DDM’s official YouTube channel, allowing Ndi Nnewi both at home and in the Diaspora to be part of this important conversation about our future.
