Former Tesla engineering leader Drew Baglino has launched a commercial heat pump company named Sadi Thermal Machines. This is his second major energy venture since departing the electric automaker in April 2024

The new startup aims to overhaul industrial temperature control as artificial intelligence data centers drain supplies. Baglino insists that rapid hardware innovation is mandatory to keep the global electrical grid functioning.
