Due Process Integrity Vanguard declares war on corrupt lawmakers
DDM News

Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) reports that the Convener of the Due Process Integrity Vanguard, Mr. Akor Christian Oche, a prominent human rights activist and the presenter of COPDEM People’s Parliament, has called on Nigerian youths to reject the recycling of ineffective political figures in the National Assembly.
In a post shared on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle @DueProcessWorld, Oche emphasized that the time for change is now.
He urged young Nigerians to mobilize and organize for the upcoming elections, stressing that they must demand new leadership to bring about meaningful transformation.
The Vanguard highlighted the importance of rejecting the same politicians who have long dominated legislative power without making substantial contributions to the country’s progress.
Oche pointed out that the current political class has failed to meet the expectations of the electorate, particularly the younger generation, and it is time for a new wave of leadership.
The group endorsed Dr. Mo Paul, popularly known as DrMo, as a credible alternative for the youth.
They praised DrMo’s unwavering advocacy for reform, youth inclusion, and social justice, positioning him as a leader capable of steering Nigeria toward a better future.
Oche emphasized that DrMo represents the hopes and aspirations of Nigerian youths who seek transparent governance and reforms that prioritize their well-being.
The Vanguard’s message also referenced the “coconut head generation,” a term used to describe Nigeria’s outspoken and fearless youth who are determined to reshape the nation’s political landscape.
The group urged young Nigerians to embrace this movement and take control of their future by supporting leaders like DrMo.
The hashtag #DrMo2027 was prominently featured in the post, signaling strong backing for DrMo’s potential candidacy in the 2027 general elections.
Political observers have noted DrMo’s growing popularity among civic groups and online communities, reflecting widespread dissatisfaction with the current National Assembly and a call for fresh, youthful voices in public office.
The Due Process Integrity Vanguard’s statement underscores a broader movement within Nigeria calling for the complete overhaul of the legislative system and a shift toward leadership that genuinely represents the people’s needs.
As the 2027 elections approach, the group encourages Nigerian youths to step up, demand better from their representatives, and support credible alternatives who embody the values of transparency, justice, and progress.
