Easter Security Tightens As NSCDC Deploys 57,000 Personnel Nationwide

(DDM) – The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has deployed over 57,000 personnel across the country to ensure safety during the Easter celebrations.

Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) gathered that the nationwide deployment is part of a comprehensive strategy to protect lives, property, and critical national assets during the festive period.

According to the corps, officers have been stationed at key locations including churches, recreational centres, highways, and other public gathering points.

The move is aimed at preventing criminal activities and ensuring a peaceful celebration for citizens.

Commanders across various states have been directed to maintain high alert levels throughout the holiday period.

Officials warned that any individual or group attempting to disrupt public peace would be dealt with decisively.
