The present economic hardship in Nigeria appears to be taking a serious toll on the masses after a man was seen tied to luggage in the boot of a car as a result of the soaring transport fares.

The unidentified man in a viral picture sighted by Newsband Newspaper was seen closely tied to the luggage.

The rising cost of living, aggravated by inflation and increased Premium Motor Spirit prices, has left millions struggling to afford basic transportation.

Meanwhile, the disturbing picture underscores the desperate measures some individuals are resorting to in an attempt to cope with draconian economic policies of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

Though, as the economic situation continues to deteriorate, many Nigerians are feeling the impact of these hardship in their daily lives, raising concerns about the broader implications for society.

However, the need for urgent solutions to alleviate the suffering of citizens has never been more pressing.
