According to Daily Post News on October 9, 2024, di former Minister of Transportation, wey be Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, com talk say Naija pipo no dey do well for di economic wahala, and na dis kind mata com dey make am vex.

Him com talk say as di mata dey right now, Naija dey face plenty wahala, com join di high poverty rate, insecurity, and economic instability.

him dey worry say Naija youths no dey protest against di rising cost of living, and dis one dey worry am for mind well-well.

Him tink say youths suppose bi di ones to dey demand change for di country and hold  di leaders accountable for di economic hardship wey dey face di country.

Him talk say di youths, wey dey make up 70% of Naija’s population, and most of dem na under 30 years old, suppose bi di driving force wey go bring about di change narrative of Naija’s economy.

But instead, dem dey face big wahala like unemployment, underemployment, and dem no even get access to beta education and training.

Di former minister of transportation wan dem to put di pipo first and tink about di future of di state, no bi to just dey win elections.

Him talk say if dem no change dia ways, di state go suffer more.

Him com talk say even di cost of essential tins like fuel don dey rise well-well, and e don dey affect even politicians and big men wey dey hold power.

Di situation dey hard, and even dem wey get money dey feel am too.

Him talk say di prices of fuel and other tins dey rise because of di global economic problems, and e dey affect many countries.

Di International Monetary Fund (IMF) don even talk about am, say make countries dey allow make international prices dey pass through di domestic prices, while protecting households wey no get money.

“You see, di cost of diesel don exceed N1,700 per litre, and dis one dey affect many businesses for Naija, especially dose wey depend on diesel to dey operate.

Di rise for di diesel price dey caused by many tins, even di global crude oil price wey dey increase, di weak naira, and di fact say Naija dey import most of its refined petroleum products.

Rotimi dey talk say, young pipo no dey take interest in politics and di way tins dey go for di country.

Dem no dey vote, dem no dey participate in di decision-making process, and dem no dey hold di leaders accountable.
