Barrister Olumide Akpata, the candidate of Labour Party in the Edo State governorship election, has lost his polling unit to the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, Mr Asue Ighodalo.
Collated results from the Polling Unit 11, Ward 06 in Oredo Local Government Area show that Asue of PDP scored 41 votes while Akpata secured 32 votes.
The candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Monday Okpebholo came distant third with 19 votes.
