Ekiti guber: Imole political movement inaugurates state working committee, unveils vision

The Imole Political Movement (IPM), under the dynamic leadership of Apostle Ayodele David-Adesua, has taken a bold step in its journey to redefine governance in Ekiti State.
The movement, on Tuesday, officially inaugurated its State Working Committee during a well-attended ceremony in Ado Ekiti.
With the upcoming 2026 governorship election gaining momentum, IPM is poised to champion transformative leadership under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
The newly inaugurated State Working Committee comprises seasoned and dedicated individuals who have committed themselves to the vision of a fair and equitable society.
They are:
Hon. Yusuf Tope Ajonholo – State Coordinator
Hon. Ajanaku Oke Michael – State General Secretary
Hon. Dayo Jegede – State Youth Coordinator
Mrs. Adebisi Olonila – State Treasurer
Hon. (Mrs)Okunola Olamide – State Women Leader
Meanwhile, in his keynote address, Apostle Ayodele David-Adesua emphasized the urgency for transformational leadership in Ekiti State, declaring his intention to contest for the governorship position under the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
He reiterated his commitment to fostering an inclusive and prosperous society, driven by fairness, empathy, and sustainable development.
Also, the Imole Political Movement unveiled its guiding principles through its Vision, Mission, Core Values, and Key Objectives:
VISION:
A just and equitable society where wealth, knowledge, and opportunities are accessible to all, and every individual can thrive.
MISSION:
To promote fairness, empathy, and compassion in governance, empowering citizens through education, skills development, and wealth creation initiatives, while ensuring equitable distribution of resources and surplus wealth for the betterment of all.
CORE VALUES:
Equity and fairness: Ensuring transparent governance and equitable resource allocation.
Empathy and compassion: Advocating for the rights and well-being of the vulnerable and marginalized.
Education and knowledge: Prioritizing education as a cornerstone for personal and societal growth.

Responsible resource distribution: Promoting equitable sharing of surplus wealth for collective prosperity.
KEY OBJECTIVES:
1. Promote inclusive and participatory governance: Establishing platforms for citizen engagement in policymaking and decision-making processes.
2. Equitable resource allocation: Developing policies that ensure fair distribution of resources across all communities in Ekiti State.
3. Invest in education and skills development programs: Enhancing access to quality education and vocational training to empower citizens.
4. Foster entrepreneurship and wealth creation initiatives: Supporting small businesses and startups to stimulate economic growth.
5. Ensure social welfare for the vulnerable: Implementing targeted programs to uplift marginalized groups and improve their quality of life.
The inauguration event was marked by an atmosphere of hope and determination as Apostle Ayodele David-Adesua called on citizens of Ekiti State to unite behind the movement’s vision for a brighter future.
“This is not just about winning an election; it is about transforming lives, restoring dignity, and creating opportunities for all,” he stated.
The Imole Political Movement said it is committed to engaging stakeholders across all sectors in Ekiti State to build a robust framework for development that prioritizes people over politics.
“As the countdown to the 2026 governorship election begins, IPM invites all citizens to join hands in shaping a new era of governance that reflects fairness, compassion, and progress”, it added.
