The Olanrewaju Community, situated along the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti road, grapples with a surge in robberies.

Residents now live in constant fear as robbers frequently target homes and businesses in the area.

Students, who make up a significant portion of the community, experience heightened anxiety over potential attacks.

The robbers strike with impunity, creating an atmosphere of unease that disrupts daily life.

“We can’t sleep anymore,” said an anonymous resident. “Robbers come at any time, and we’re always waiting for the next attack.

We desperately need the Ekiti state government and security assistance.”

Eyewitnesses describe the robbers as employing sophisticated tactics to break into properties.

Their actions leave residents feeling vulnerable and helpless in their own homes, eroding the sense of safety that once prevailed.

“The robbers are organized and well-armed,” another resident stated.

“They know exactly when and where to strike. While we try to secure our homes, we clearly need help from authorities.”

Despite reporting incidents to law enforcement, residents see little action taken to address the escalating situation.

They urgently call on the government and security agencies for immediate intervention to restore peace.

“We’re not asking for much,” one resident explained. “We simply want to feel safe at home.

Olanrewaju Community, primarily populated by students, is known for its peaceful atmosphere.

The recent crime surge is alarming and threatens the community’s friendly environment, leaving residents fearful of their safety.

As conditions worsen, residents collectively express their need for help.

“We’re begging for assistance. Please, don’t ignore our cries. We want safety again,” he said.
