The All Progressives Congress, APC, senatorial candidate for Benue South, Comrade Daniel Onjeh, has alleged that the officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, manipulated Saturday’s election results in the district.
As the results continue to trickle in, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP candidate, Senator Abba Morro, is currently leading.
Onjeh, who took to his official Facebook page on Monday to lament alleged irregularities by some INEC officials during the poll, wondered how some results were being manufactured.
He wrote, “I hate to complain over and on, but while the more cumbersome Presidential Election results are steadily trickling in, some of the INEC Pulling unit Officials who went into hiding after leaving the Polling Units and were nowhere at the Ward Collation Centers, are just beginning to turn-in miracle votes more than 24 hrs after last Saturday’s Senatorial Election in Benue South”.
