Elombah.com apologises to Yusuf Ali, SAN, over publication on court judgment against Sowore

RE: SUIT NO: CV/0225/2017 BEWTEEN YUSUF OLAOLU ALI SAN VS. OMOYELE SOWORE & 2 ORS.

Letter of apology over publication made on 30th July, 2017 titled “Sowore of Sahara Reporters laments as court freezes his N236,000,000.00 (two hundred and thirty-six million Naira) only.

I am the 2^nd Defendant in the above-mentioned suit.

I write for myself and on behalf of the 3^rd Defendant, Daniel Elombah.

On the 30^th July, 2017, Elombah.com caused to be published a publication titled “Sowore of Sahara Reporters Laments as Court Freezes his N236,000,000.00 (Two Hundred and Thirty-Six Million Naira) Only”.

Part of the publication tend to suggest that Chief Yusuf Ali, SAN, engaged in the writing of judgement in Suit No. KWS/23/2017 which was not intended to defame and disparage the person of the revered Senor Advocate of Nigeria. The said publication was not verified before publication nor was it established to be true or correct  and was not intended to malign the integrity of the Senior Advocate.

We have by this Letter tendered an unreserved apology to Chief Yusuf Olaolu Ali, SAN and highly regret the embarrassment the publication caused you and your reputation.
