Ebele Ugochukwu (EU) Foundation distributing food and money to widows and less privileged

In a bid to assist poor widows and less privileged to cushion the harsh effect of hardship in Nigeria, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) known as Ebele Ugochukwu (EU) Foundation based at Nkwelle Ezunaka in Oyi Local Government Area in Anambra State has distributed food items as well as sums of money to widows and less privileged.

Speaking on the activities of the Foundation the Proprietor Mrs Ebele Ugochukwu expanded that the NGO was established to rally support for the suffering widows, the hungry orphans and the less privileged adding that the Foundation has been working tirelessly to support widows with food items and cash to pay children school fees.

She said that the Foundation is committed to bridging the gap between those that are well to do and those that are suffering noting that the major challenge facing the poor widows and orphans is lack of access to people that are even willing to help.

According to her, some people and even organizations might be interested to lend help to those that are suffering but they don’t have the time to make arrangement to get across to such people and in the same vein those who are suffering don’t have access to people that are willing to help them, so the Foundation is reaching out to stand in gap to partner and collaborate in reaching out to people in need.

She said she floated the NGO following a divine calling adding “I am a business woman but I recieved the calling to serve in this direction and I have been trying to get the best way to do it satisfactorily

‘My children have been lending helping hand but it is not just enough. What the Foundation wants to achieve is to provide access through which people that are well to do can give support and where people that are suffering in need can receive support”

She said that the Foundation is looking forward to establish a home for the aged and disabled and called on people that are willing to assist the poor as well organizations that are willing to help the poor widows and orphans to partner and collaborate with the Foundation.
