Ex-Super Eagles Coach Adisa urges Kwara United to stay focused ahead Federation Cup Final

Former Super Eagles coach and legendary FA Cup figure, Coach Amusa Adisa, has charged Kwara United FC to remain focused and determined as they prepare for the highly anticipated President Federation Cup final on Saturday, June 28, 2025.
Adisa, a veteran of Nigeria’s oldest football competition, is best remembered for his multiple appearances in the tournament’s finals and semi-finals with clubs like Ibadan FA and WNDC Shooting Stars in the 1960s and 70s. He lifted the trophy in 1966 and 1969 with Ibadan FA, reached the semi-final in 1970, won again in 1971 with WNDC, and was runner-up in the 1975 final against Rangers International.
Reflecting on his own FA Cup legacy, the revered tactician extended his best wishes to the Harmony Boys, urging them not to underestimate their opponents.
“I’m wishing Kwara United all the best in the finals. They should not underrate anybody. Let them stay focused and determined,” Adisa said in a message. “This is an opportunity to make history for the club, the state, and themselves. Insha Allahu, they will come out with victory.”
Kwara United will battle Abakaliki FC at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos, in what is expected to be a thrilling finale to the 2025 President Federation Cup.
