Anambra Election – Intelligence reports obtained by Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) have uncovered disturbing details suggesting that the results of the Anambra governorship election have been predetermined before election day.
Reliable intelligence sources told DDM correspondennt Amaechi okoro that a secret meeting took place at a Hotel in Enugu, where the election results were finalized several days before the official poll date.
According to the intel, 21 electoral officials were involved in the pre-election arrangement.
Each of the officials was said to have received substantial financial inducements running into tens of millions of naira.
The report alleges that powerful political figures influenced the manipulation plan, which involved the preparation of result sheets in advance of voting day in favour of APGA.
Sources close to the development claim that the funds were distributed in cash through intermediaries who ensured that compliant officials received their payments discreetly.
One source who requested anonymity for security reasons told DDM that the operation was “meticulously coordinated” to ensure the election outcome favoured APGA.
The meeting, according to intelligence briefings sighted by DDM, took place “last week” at the Enugu hotel, where participants reportedly reviewed pre-filled result templates for the 21 local government areas of Anambra State.
Security sources in Enugu, who were briefed after the event, said they had reasons to believe the gathering was politically motivated, though no arrests were made at the time.
DDM could not independently verify whether any official INEC staff were detained or questioned regarding the alleged manipulation.
When contacted for clarification, officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
Efforts to reach the Anambra State Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) also proved unsuccessful as calls and text messages were unanswered.
Civil society organizations monitoring the election, including the #TNCI Election Observer Mission and the Transition Monitoring Group (TMG), have called for an urgent investigation to verify the authenticity of the intelligence reports.
Analysts have expressed concern that if the allegations are confirmed, it would represent one of the most audacious pre-election compromises in recent Nigerian political history.
DDM has confirmed that relevant security agencies have been briefed on the intelligence and are expected to commence discreet verification of the claims.
As of press time, there was no official statement from the Anambra or Enugu State Police Commands regarding the meeting or any subsequent security action.
The #AnambraDecides2025 election, held amid tight security and heavy voter turnout, has continued to generate controversy over transparency, with multiple reports of irregularities, logistical breakdowns, and accusations of vote buying.
DDM will continue to track developments as more facts emerge from ongoing intelligence review and post-election investigations.
