EXPOSED: OYC security intelligence uncovers Umahi’s plan to terrorize Ebonyi with militia’s killer squad

The Apex Socio-cultural youth organization of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide Ohanaeze Youth Council OYC says it has uncovered plots by Gov. David Umahi to terrorize Ebonyi with his Militias Killers Squad.

In release signed by the national president of OYC, Comrd. Igboayaka O. Igboayaka and made available to newsmen, the Council called on heads of security agents to deploy possible measures to avert the impending bloodbath in the State described Umahi’s as being desperate to retain power, in spite of all odds.

According to OYC, the Chairman of South-East Governors Forum had begun to display the height of overzealousness ever since he got wind of his unacceptability by his people of Ebonyi, hence his unyielding quest to ensure the success of his Senatorial bid and his Puppet Guber project, Rt. Hon Francis Nwifuru.

Meanwhile, Ohanaeze Youth security intelligence gathered from reliable sources that the spate of insecurity in the State, ranging from indiscriminate killings, maiming, and terrorism meted out to the people of Ebonyi State, by the disbanded, Outlawed Ebubeagu Security Network of the Governor, had in recent times, taken a different dimension.

The release read in part:

“The attention of Security intelligence team of Ohanaeze Youth Council has been drawn to the classified conspiracy by Gov David Umahi to breach security situation in Ebonyi State by arming his Militias Killers Squad to terrorize Ebonyians in other to have his way to win senatorial election and install Rt. Hon Francis Nwifuru as next governor of Ebonyi State.

“Over two weeks ago Gov Umahi was briefied by his intelligence team that he had become unpopular and unacceptable in Ebonyi state due to the rate of killings that took place within his eight (8) years tyrannical ruler ship. Upon hearing his unacceptability among Ebonyians, he planned to use terror to win his senatorial bid and also impose his puppet guber candidate, Rt. Hon Francis Nwifuru on Ebonyians by using terror to cause vote suppression in Areas that are not his Stronghold.

The release further disclosed that “Gov. Umahi had concluded plans to use terror to scare people away from coming em mass to vote their preferred candidates; this secret plan will make Friday night and Saturday morning a terror zone in Ebonyi.

“Gov. Umahi has instructed his militias Killers Squad to hide at least four (4) AK47 in strategic places (Bush) near every polling units, so his Militias Killers Squad will receive signal and unleash their attack.

“Gov. Umahi has murdered sleep in Ebonyi, and he will sleep no more. Our intelligence gathered that Gov. David Umahi has concluded plan to bring Militant Squad from Ateke Tom through Rt. Hon Francis Nwifuru’s boy known as Jango, but unfortunately we reliably informed that Ateke Tom has vehemently turned down the Gov. Umahi’s offer.

“Gov. Umahi must be notified that Ohanaeze Youth Council has also uncovered how he configured thousands of fake BVAS that will be distributed at various polling units by his armed militia’s killers. We also gathered that the vicious killers have been instructed to shoot prodigal and drop fake Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS). And collect the original BVAS and run away.”

Lamenting, Igboayaka added: “I have always raised alarm of possible militant terror that could be unleashed by Gov. Umahi on the citizens of Ebonyi, but unfortunately, Nigeria security agencies are not doing the needful.

“It’s now very sacrosanct that the Inspector General of Police and Director General of DSS must beam their investigative satellite on Gov. Umahi else blood will spill and heads will roll in Ebonyi on the eve of and during the election.

Unfortunately to Gov. David Umahi, our security intelligence have uncovered his secret plan of sewing over five hundred ( 500)  Military Camouflage for his militias Killers Squad. This military impersonation plan will be executed by Local Government Chairmen, as Gov David Umahi has instructed all the Local Government Chairmen to mobilize at least Five(5) Militias Killers Squad they will give the military Camouflage to terrorize Ebonyians during Election.

We therefore call the attention of Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Farouk Yahaya and Chief of Defense Staff General Lucky Irabor to be at alert and deal ruthlessly with Gov. Umahi’s Killer Squad that will move with Hilux Vans on Army Camouflage on election day.

“Inspector General of Police and Director General of DSS must as a matter necessity bear in mind that Governor David Umahi’s desperate political ambition is already a known “Massive Grave Yard” waiting to swallow innocent Ebonyians, if active measure by security agents is not taking immediately to stop the harvest of blood that will befall on Ebonyians”, Comrade Igboayaka warned sternly.
