Defections: Labour Party don dey suffer big setback ahead 2027

Former presidential aspirant Faduri Oluwadare Joseph, popularly known as Fadojoe, has made bold remarks regarding the 2027 elections.

He stated that the Labour Party’s presidential ticket will not be handed out easily but will be strongly contested, Diaspora Digital Media(DDM) gathers .

Fadojoe is the convener of the Rescue Movement for a New Nigeria, a group focused on political transformation.

In a statement titled “2027: The Battle for Nigeria’s Soul Begins”, he addressed the current challenges in the Labour Party.

Despite these challenges, he maintained that the party is being rebuilt into a strong, competitive political force.

“Though the party appears disorganized now, it will be restructured before the 2027 elections,” he said confidently.

He expressed hope that the Labour Party would present a real alternative for Nigerians tired of recycled leadership.

Fadojoe admitted that the party is experiencing internal difficulties but assured that the center will soon hold.

“When the center holds, Nigerians will have a true choice in 2027,” he emphasized.

Addressing recent defections, he dismissed them as having little impact on actual voting outcomes.

“PDP members may join APC in droves, but each defector only brings one vote,” he pointed out.

He argued that the 2027 elections will not be won through political strategies but by the people’s voice.

According to him, ordinary Nigerians, not politicians, will determine the next president of Nigeria.

Fadojoe described today’s political environment as flawed and harmful to citizens’ welfare.

He condemned politicians who proudly align with parties accused of worsening hardship in the country.

“No honest politician would join a party that has inflicted suffering on Nigerians,” he asserted.

He predicted that 2027 would mark the emergence of a new political generation.

“Young people are ready to lead, they are agile, tech-savvy, and focused,” he stated.

He made it clear that his generation is not entering politics for selfish reasons.

“We are not in this for wealth; we want to restore Nigeria’s greatness,” Fadojoe emphasized.

He described the movement as one driven by purpose, not power.

Fadojoe sent a direct message to Nigeria’s old political establishment, urging them to prepare for change.

“To those clinging to outdated tactics: 2027 will not be business as usual,” he warned.

He said that rigging and manipulation would not determine the next election’s outcome.

“Every vote will count. Every Nigerian’s voice will matter,” he declared.

Fadojoe promised that his movement is already mobilizing across Nigeria.

“We’re organizing state by state, ward by ward, voice by voice,” he said.

The goal, according to him, is to awaken Nigerians to the power of their vote.

“Let this be a warning and a promise, a new Nigeria is rising,” he concluded.

With 2027 approaching, Fadojoe’s message reflects rising momentum among youth-led movements seeking lasting political reform.
