FC Ifeanyi Ubah congratulates boss on re-election as Anambra FA Chairman

The management of our dear club FC Ifeanyi Ubah has heartily felicitated and congratulated the Proprietor and Founder of the club, Senator Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah on his re-election as the Chairman of the Anambra State Football Association (ANSFA) Board for another four years.

The club disclosed this in a statement issued on behalf of FC Ifeanyi Ubah Management by Prince Chukwuma D. Ubah, the Chairman of FC Ifeanyi Ubah.

The elections held on August 2, 2020 with Rev Fr Obinna Dike as the Returning Officer for the LFC, while Barrister Godwin Madubuko was the Returning Officer for the Board Elections.

According to Prince Ubah, the club sincerely appreciates his immense commitment towards youth development and growth of grassroot football.

He prayed that the next four years of his administration as the FA Chairman be laced with giant strides and success.

“Please do accept our felicitations,” he stated.

In the Board elections, the incumbent Chairman and Vice, Sen Ifeanyi Ubah and Barr. JBC Obikwelu were returned unopposed.

Joe Amena, Uduh Kingsley, Philip Balepo, Amuzie Cyprain, Obiefune Collins, Adinnu Okezie and Ada Edward were elected the remaining members or the nine-man Board.

Meanwhile, some huge surprises were recorded as Academy Owner, Coach former Rangers player, Emeka Ralph, alongside Udennaka Anthony Bebeto and Emeka Okeke were ousted.

Philip Balepo, in the meantime, made it into the Excos for the next four years.

With the unsuccessful return of the above mentioned, Anambra State FA now focus fully on the task at hand without worrying about Government interference.

ElombahNews gathered that the Anambra State Football Stakeholders and Congress are firmly behind Ifeanyi Ubah in the election for the next four years.

In the LFC elections, there was a little hitch as the Chairman for Onitsha South.

Following a coin toss, it was decided that a bye election will be conducted for Orumba South LFC which returned forms late. Other 19 LFCs were through.

The Electoral Committee thanked the candidates, delegates, agents, stakeholders, media and the government for their collaboration in ensuring a smooth electoral process.
