According to Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) findings, the Moniya Inland Dry Port is envisioned to decongest seaports, attract private investment, and enhance cargo movement efficiency across Nigeria’s South-West region.

Oloruntola, in a statement issued by the Ministry’s Director of Information and Public Relations, Anastasia Ogbonna, said the port will serve as a strategic national project designed to bring shipping services closer to importers and exporters, thereby stimulating industrialization and agricultural growth.

He added that the Federal Government’s marine and blue economy policy aligns with global trends to leverage inland logistics for regional trade and sustainable development.
