Galatasaray Women’s Football Club has welcomed Flourish Sabastine, a Super Falcons youngster, from Stade de Reims Féminines after formally announcing her transfer.

As reported, the contract, effective for a duration of one year, commenced upon the successful negotiation and signing of terms.

Flourish joined the Football Club, following successful stints with Bayelsa Queens in Nigeria and Stade de Reims Féminines in France.

According to the Diaspora Digital Media (DDM), “Flourish Sabastine initially committed to a two-year agreement with Stade de Reims Féminines in 2023.”

“The signing of Flourish by Galatasaray facilitates a reunion with her former colleague, Tosin Demehin.”

“Both athletes previously collaborated at Stade de Reims Féminines and as members of the Nigerian Falconets. Notably, Demehin joined Galatasaray in September 2024,” Guardian stated.

Sabastine, an esteemed nominee for the Confederation of African Football’s (CAF) 2022 Young Player of the Year award, represented Nigeria’s Falconets at the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

Additionally, she participated in the 2024 U-20 Women’s World Cup.

She was among the four players that received a late invitation to join the Nigerian Super Falcons squad for their international friendly against Japan, which took place in Kobe, Japan, in October 2022.

Galatasaray Women’s Football Club presently occupies sixth position in the Turkish Women’s Super League standings, trailing leaders Fenerbahce by six points. After five matches, the team has accumulated 12 points.
