Gateway Games: Organisers snub Portable, while Davido, Asa to headline opening show

News making the rounds just a few hours to the opening ceremony of the 2024 Gateway Games, Abeokuta, has it that music legend, David Adeleke, aka, Davido and Asa will play at the opening ceremony of the games where Vice President Kashim Shetima is expected.

The news is creating heavy media buzz in Abeokuta where there has been expectation that street sens , aka, Portable, appears to have been bypassed.

Very much an enfant terrible, Portable is highly regarded in the streets in Lagos and Abeokuta.

Known for constant brushes with the law and fellow celebrities, organisers of the games appear to be wary of courting controversies at the event.
