Gov Zulum speaks on rumoured defection to ADC

Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, has denied rumors of his planned defection from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the African Democratic Congress (ADC), along with five other governors.

Zulum described the rumors as “fictitious and mischievous,” attributing them to detractors seeking to gain political relevance.

He reaffirmed his loyalty to the APC and dedication to the welfare and progress of Borno State.

Zulum urged the public to disregard the fabrication and focus on the noble task of rebuilding and developing Borno State.

He called on media outlets and the public to verify information from credible official sources and ignore disinformation.
