Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Ondo State, Olu Agunloye has accused Governor Olusegun Mimiko of squandering the sum N38 billion inherited by his government from previous administrations in the State.
Speaking with journalists at the party’s secretariat, Agunloye alleged that under the Mimiko-led administration, the State is now indebted to the tune of N125 billion, amassed over seven years in office.
“Over the seven years, we have an administration which inherited N38 billion cash, but is now indebted to the tune of over N125 billion.
“So, we can say that this is a State where we have expended over a trillion naira and yet, people are wallowing in abject poverty.
“This is so painful because the mineral resources are there, the human resources are there and things have not been well taken care of,” he said. Read the newest information everyday at this site !
