Gunmen kidnap lecturer in Plateau

Gunmen have abducted Dr. Yohanna Mallo, a lecturer at the Federal College of Education, Pankshin, in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State.

The abduction reportedly took place in the wee hours of Saturday, March 1, 2025, in the Malahwam Tarangol area.

Sources reveal that the attackers stormed the lecturer’s home around 2:30am, seized him, and fled to an undisclosed location.

Meanwhile, in response, a coordinated team of military operatives and the Special Intervention Squad have launched a search-and-rescue mission, securing nearby forests for clues to locate the victim and arrest the kidnappers.
