Gunmen have assassinated Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Mr. Abba Danmallam in Abuja.
NewsBand understand that the officer was trailed by the assailants and shot dead beside his car.
Abba before his unfortunate death, previously served in the Katsina Command before he was transferred to Lagos and later to Abuja.
His death came to limelight through a video posted by journalist, Sadiq Lanre Ishaq on Sunday, December 22, 2024.
The video captured by an eyewitness revealed the officer’s official identification documents, confirming his rank as a three-star officer.
Meanwhile, police authorities in Abuja are yet to issue an official statement in respect to the development.
