Hand Over Our Properties In Your Possession, MOSOP President Tells Pyagbara

The President of the Movement for the Survival of the Ogoni People (MOSOP), Mr. Bari-ara Kpalap has asked his predecessor,  Mr. Legborsi Saro Pyagbara to handover all MOSOP properties in his possession.

Mr. Kpalap made demand in a letter made available to ElombahNews on Friday.

Addressing the former MOSOP president, he recalled that his tenure expired since December 31, 2018, but he is yet to hand over to the new president of the organisation.

He also recalled that he had earlier verbally asked him to do same to no avail.

He, therefore, asked him to hand over to the current president without further delay to avoid hiccups.

Dear Legborsi,

You will recall that the tenure of the immediate past administration of the Movement for the Survival of the Ogoni People (MOSOP), which you headed for six years expired since December 31, 2018.

You would not deny the fact that you ought to have handed over to the new president of the organisation, Hon. Bari-ara Kpalap who assumed office since January 1, 2019 to your knowledge.

Today makes it eleven (11) days into the new administration yet you have failed to handover.

You will recall that I had earlier verbally spoken to you regarding this matter and had expected your compliance by now.

I do not think your action is the best there in.

If you may have forgotten, please, let me remind you to handover to me, the current president without further delay.
