Renowned Highlife maestro, Chief Mike Ejeagha is dead.

News Band Newspaper gathered that he died on Friday night at the age of 95 in Garrison Hospital, Enugu, following a long battle with illness.

His death was confirmed by his son, Mr. Emma Ejeagha.

Mike Ejeagha was a dominant voice on Nigerian airwaves in the 1980s with his unique style of Igbo folk music that resonated across generations.
