Former President Goodluck Jonathan revealed that he experienced significant betrayal during his 2015 re-election bid, describing Nigerian politics as centered around betrayals.

He made this remark at the 70th birthday celebration of his former Chief of Staff, Chief Mike Aiyegbeni Oghiadomhe, in Benin, Edo State.

Jonathan expressed his disappointment with the lack of dependability among Nigerian politicians, stating: “You will find it difficult to see somebody who says the same thing in the morning, in the afternoon, and in the evening.”

He noted that most politicians are not dependable, as they often change their stance.
