Popular Nigerian singer Chinedu Okoli, widely known as Flavour, has opened up about why he finds it difficult to commit to a single woman, citing his lifestyle and personality as major factors.
Speaking in a recent video broadcast, the highlife star described himself as someone who thrives on freedom and exploration, noting that his nature does not align with being tied down in a conventional relationship.
“I am an explorer. I belong to the wild world. I belong to the street,” he said. “Some men are domesticated, but I am not. We belong to the wild world. I cannot be caged.”
Flavour explained that while some men prefer a more settled and domestic lifestyle, he sees himself differently and values his independence above all else.
The singer’s personal life has long attracted public attention, particularly regarding his relationships. He is a father of three children with two different women, both of whom are former Nigerian beauty queens.
Despite public curiosity surrounding his romantic life, Flavour appears comfortable with his choices, maintaining that his identity and way of life make long-term commitment to one partner challenging.
His remarks have since sparked conversations online about relationships, personal freedom, and the expectations placed on public figures.
