Senator Dr Ifeanyi Ubah, on Monday, played host to frontline Nigerian/Anambra international export, Mr. Mikel Obi in his Maitama, Abuja residence.
Senator Ubah had been quietly consulting numerous sons and daughters of Anambra State, both at home and in diaspora, who are headliners in various fields of human endeavour across the globe, on the need for a united force that will trigger the economic fortunes of the state.
Yesterday, he continued his drive towards the actualization of his vision when he held deep interactions with the Nigerian International John Mikel Obi.
The Distinguished Senator recognises the importance of football driven economy, himself being a proud owner of a FIFA certified International stadium as well as a football club plying its trade in the Nigeria premier league and a football academy.
He is building a coalition of like-minds who are experts and eggheads in various sectors of the economy, ranging from trade and commerce, to football economy , gas exploration, industries, health, agriculture and aviation, etc.
It was an evening of robust exchanges as the equally brilliant and versatile Mikel Obi also shared his thoughts on various measures that can be used in tapping from the hugely neglected multibillion dollar football driven economic potentials of the State.
