Participants at the Alaigbo Development Foundation (ADF) New Year Retreat held at Crystal Palace Hotel, Enugu, January 4th – 5th, 2019 have reiterated the earlier demand by some Igbos that Igboland be recognised as an autonomous region in Nigeria.
They also demanded that Nigeria be recognised as Union of Autonomous Regions.
The resolution was reached in a communiqué issued at the end of ADF New Year retreat.
The two-day retreat was held under the auspices of ADF with the participation of representatives of several pan-Igbo and pro-Biafra organizations as well as major stakeholders in Igboland.
