Imo: Ohaji/Egbema Council Chair, Amadioha reels Achievements

The Executive Chairman of Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Council, Prince Marcel Amadioha has outlined some numerous achievements recorded within his 100 days in office.

He promised to do his best for his people as more developments are coming before the end of his tenure

Amadioha disclosed the achievements during an interface with Ohaji/ Egbema Practicing Journalists in Owerri on Wednesday 19th February 2025.

He noted that he had graded roads during the past festive period to ease human and vehicular traffic in the communities within the LGA, adding that his administration was building Secretariat at the LGA Headquarters Mmahu Egbema .

He noted that the edifice would be completed before the end of the year.

Amadioha stressed that his administration was able to renovate and equip heath centres within Ohaji/Egbema communities with the state-of-the-art equipments in a view to improving good health among the locals.

He harped that, with good health, revenue would increase and there will be even development and advancement.

Hinting that many locals were given gifts such as rice and other valuable items to enable them celebrate the Christmas and New Year Festivities with joy,.

Amadioha remarked that he has been relating well and cordially with the stakeholders and Monarch’s with the aim of maintaining peace and order at various communities.

He henceforth urged the Monarchs to work cordially with relevant bodies and stakeholders to keep afloat peace, security, development and conviviality which are parts of the ideologies of APC and the Shared Prosperity Government of Governor Hope Uzodinma.

OhajiEgbema LGA Chairman described Governor Hope Uzodinma as a man of the people and a true democrat with the heart of gold.

“I do not say most of the good things I do for my people. I have deep love for them, hence I lead them democratically and in line with the mandate of the 3R administration.

It is always good to give back to the people. I’m development-oriented and I will often do good things for the agrarian Ohaji/Egbema people.

We are indeed the most peaceful humans in Imo State, with huge oil deposit, having fertile vast land, ornamented with huge mineral resources.

My utmost priority of governance is to ensure peace is sustained in all communities in Ohaji/ Egbema.

I must bring all stakeholders together to ensure peace is always improved.

The Leaders should use the money paid by oil companies operating in the area for the good of the people.

This will strengthen peace, security and development. I promise to do more”, Amadioha stated.

While thanking the journalists for identifying with him, he advised them to use their pen and media platforms to project the area positively.

Recall that Prince Marcel Amadioha was the Interim Management Committee chairman and later the Sole Administrator of OhajiEgbema local Government Area, the tenures he used to build trust among the people and the Imo state government.

DDM News gathered that he is the longest serving local government chairman in Governor Hope Uzodinma’s administration.

 

Also note that Amadioha has consistently followed the leadership of Governor Hope Uzodinma hence has earned trust in his administration.
