Imo Sports: Oburugo Gifted Eagles FC trashes Rising Star 4-1

It was a jubilation galore last Sunday as the Oburugo Gifted Eagles Football Club Ohaji in Ohaji/Egbema LGA of Imo State walloped their visiting club Rising Star of Obinze in Owerri West LGA of Imo State 4-1 in a friendly match.

The match which was played at Ilile Town School playing ground Ohaji in Ohaji/Egbema LGA of Imo State witnessed major turn out of spectators, suporters and fans from within Ohaji/Egbema and some part of Imo State.

During the game which kick-started behind time because of rain, the host club showed class above the Rising Star Football Club and succeeded in humiliating them with 4-1 .

The Oburugo Gifted Eagles FC had registered their first 2 goals during the first half while the visiting team out of their serious fight during the game managed to score one during 2nd half.

But the Gifted Eagles continued their well articulated style of football, displaying their experiences which in the end resulted in scoring another 2 goals during the second half

Speaking after the match, the Coach of Oburugo Gifted Eagles Fc, Victor Stephen (Coach Balla) described the match as s challenging one because of the complains from the fans

He said that as a coach he worked seriously on the players to attract victory by making every one of them to be on their toes instead of relaxing

The coach assured both the fans and supporters that there would be more winnings as they proceeds in their feature matches.

He thanked all the supporters and fans for their strong and unrelenting support.

Recalled that the club came into formation barely two months ago and had maintained constant, regular and intensive training in preparation for any encounter with any team irrespective of where they are coming from

The club made up of players from both within the localities of Ohajji/Egbema and outside have also maintained steady camping in their base in Ilile community from where they engage in their regular morning and evening trainings.

The club considering its rapid improvement is already eyeing Imo State league championship where they hope to display more of their talents.
