Imo: Why Owerri zone should produce governor in 2027 — Oparaugo

The President of Imo state union, United Kingdom, Chief Chima Oparaugo has given reason Owerri zone should produce Imo governor in 2027.

Chief Oparaugo while speaking to newsmen in his residence at Avu , Owerri West LGA, Imo state said it’s the turn of Owerri zone to produce Imo governor in 2027.

He said Owerri zone had governed Imo state for less than two years since the creation of Imo state in 1976.

Oparaugo (Ezinwa Avu) said apart from zoning arrangements, Owerri zone has qualified professionals who would govern Imo effectively and efficiently.

The Londoner pointed out that Owerri people are liberal and not too materialistic in terms of primitive wealth acquisition.

The legal luminary and Attorney hinted that an Owerri zone man if given the opportunity will transform the state infrastructurally and otherwise.

High Chief Oparaugo called on all Imo citizens in both home and diaspora to support an Owerri zone man in 2027 to emerge as governor.for equity sake.

He commended Governor Hope Uzodinma for his  good works in the state, especially in his road revolution and other infrastructures.

Oparaugo wishes Imo citizens a merry Christmas and a prosperous new year in advance.

It should be recalled that High Chief Chima Oparaugo is the President of Imo state Union UK and has brought good governance to the union and other innovations.

He is the first leader to introduce the learning of Igbo language in  London schools and the celebration of new yam festivals in the United Kingdom.
