The Israeli military announced on Tuesday that it carried out airstrikes overnight targeting Iran’s presidential office and the building housing the country’s Supreme National Security Council.
According to the military, the strikes also hit the gathering site of Iran’s highest-level security decision-making forum, an institution responsible for training military officers, and other critical regime infrastructure.
Israel did not provide further details on casualties or damage, and Iran has not immediately acknowledged the attacks.
The operation comes amid escalating tensions in the region following weeks of military engagements between Israel, the United States, and Iran, raising concerns over further conflict in the Middle East.
