Media personality Ashmusy has opened up about her views on marriage, motherhood, and long-term family planning, revealing a bold and intentional approach to her future.
Speaking during a podcast session on Echo Room, Ashmusy shared that she is not under pressure to marry early, emphasizing that her priority is making the right life decisions rather than rushing into marriage due to societal expectations.
She explained that while many women feel compelled to settle down in their late 20s or early 30s because of the so-called “biological clock,” she believes that mindset can sometimes lead to wrong choices.
“I am already sure of being a mum,” she said. “Many women that rush into marriage maybe in their late 20s and early 30s do so because of the biological clock story. With that rush, you end up getting into the wrong marriage which I almost did.”
Ashmusy went on to reveal that she has taken proactive steps to secure her future as a mother by freezing her eggs, a decision that gives her the flexibility to have children on her own terms when the time is right.
According to her, if marriage doesn’t happen early, she is open to conceiving through insemination, making it clear that motherhood remains a definite goal regardless of her relationship status.
Her candid remarks have sparked conversations online, with many praising her for taking control of her life choices, while others continue to debate societal expectations around marriage and family planning.
With her stance, Ashmusy joins a growing number of women choosing alternative paths to motherhood prioritizing personal readiness, stability, and the right partnership over societal timelines.
