Gunmen suspected to be Eastern Security Network of the proscribed Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), in the wee hours of Sunday, launched a vicious attack on Saint Andrews Anglican Church, Isiokwe in Lilu community.
Lilu is in Ihiala Local government area of Anambra State.
Diaspora Digital Media understand that the gunmen brutally murdered the wife of the church priest, razed down his house to ashes.
The church vehicles and other church properties, were also razed.
Meanwhile, at the time of filing this report, police authorities in Anambra State are yet to issue an official statement in respect to the unfortunate incident.
