Mr. Muhammadu Bello Sifawa, Secretary to the Sokoto State Government, has lost his daughter and three of her children in a fire incident on Monday.
The deceased was a housewife to the Permanent secretary of the state Ministry of Sports and Youths Development Alhaji Muhammadu Yusuf Bello.
The fire, which started in the wee hours of the night, gutted the entire house while the family was sleeping.
Unfortunately, only the husband, Alhaji Muhammadu Yusuf Bello, survived the inferno.
At the time of filing this report, the cause of the fire is still under investigation, as men of Sokoto State fire service battled for hours to put out the inferno.
The remains of the housewife and her three children are set to be buried at Sheikh Shehu Usmanu Danfodiyo Mosque, Sifawa, at midnight today, in accordance with Islamic rites.
The burial will take place at the family home of Alhaji Muhammadu Bello Sifawa.
