President Bola Tinubu is currently meeting with governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, amid heightened political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The meeting, which began shortly before 4pm on Thursday, August 27, brings the President together with members of the Progressives Governors Forum, the umbrella body for APC governors across the country.
The governors arrived at the Presidential Villa after participating in a separate session of the National Economic Council chaired by Vice President Kashim Shettima.
