Gospel minister and recording artiste Kingsley Owoicho-Oche Innocent, widely known as Kaestrings, is poised to release his debut album titled Rahama in the early hours of Friday, June 12, at 12:00 AM (WAT).
The 13-track body of work, whose title translates to “Mercy” in Hausa, will be made available across all major digital streaming platforms worldwide, marking a significant milestone in the artiste’s musical and ministerial journey.
Anticipation has continued to build ahead of the release, with many within the gospel music space describing the project as one of the most awaited albums of the year. Listeners from across Africa and the global diaspora are expected to engage with the project upon its release.
Rahama is presented as a deeply spiritual offering, reflecting Kaestrings’ personal faith walk while inviting listeners into a deeper experience of divine mercy and intimacy with God. The album draws inspiration from Proverbs 4:18, framing the project as both a testimony and a call to spiritual reflection.
Kaestrings first gained international attention with his widely embraced worship anthem He Is Here (Ga Shi Nan), which resonated across denominations and cultures. Since then, he has continued to build a strong catalogue with songs such as Love, Haske, Nasara, and Rahama, all centered on themes of faith, hope, and God’s grace.
Beyond music, he remains actively involved in ministry as part of Eternity Network International (ENI), Koinonia, under the leadership of Apostle Joshua Selman. He is married to Victoria Innocent, and together they have two children.
With Rahama, Kaestrings steps into a new phase of his career, offering what is expected to be a defining project in contemporary gospel music.
