Laolu Mudasiru: Police launch manhunt for hit-and-run driver

The Lagos State Police Command has begun a manhunt for the fleeing driver that reportedly killed the deputy managing director and co-founder of Vetiva Capital Management, Olaolu Mudasiru.
PUNCH Metro gathered that the 68-year-old Mudasiru was killed on Sunday morning in a hit-and-run accident while cycling with two other persons on the Bourdilion road in the Ikoyi area of Lagos.
The Vetiva co-founder was also the first son of Gbolahan Mudasiru, former military governor of Lagos state, who died in 2003.
It was gathered that the two others crushed by the fleeing driver survived and currently receiving treatment at Lagoon Hospital, Bourdillon, Ikoyi.
On Vetiva Capital Management’s official Twitter handle, a picture of Mudasiru was posted to announce his demise.
The caption reads, “We have lost our Super Griffin. Rest In Peace, Dr. Olaolu Mudasiru (Dr. Bob).”
The police spokesperson in the state, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident to our correspondent
